ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting, and Parliamentary Affairs Murtaza Solangi has expressed profound sorrow and sadness over the demise of senior Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Professor Nazir Ahmed Shawl in London on Saturday.
In a condolence message, the minister conveyed his deep grief at hearing the sad news of the death of Professor Nazir Ahmad Shawl.
According to Murtaza Solangi, Professor Nazir Ahmed Shawl was a courageous, fearless, and dedicated leader. Solangi emphasized that the loss of Nazir Ahmad Shawl marked a significant departure for Kashmir, as it mourned the passing of an exemplary leader. Recognizing Nazir Shawl’s contributions, Solangi highlighted his impactful advocacy for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Kashmir, noting his crucial role in raising awareness about the Kashmir issue on the global stage.
