ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Murtaza Solangi, has called on the global community to take swift action for an immediate ceasefire in Palestine.
In a meeting with Jordanian Ambassador Dr. Maan Abdel Fattah Khurisat in Islamabad, the Minister expressed deep concern over the current situation in Palestine, highlighting that it is not only a matter of worry for the Muslim Ummah but also for civilized nations worldwide.
During the meeting, Minister Solangi emphasized the urgent need for a ceasefire, citing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza due to shortages of food supplies. He commended Jordan’s relief activities in Palestine and acknowledged the vital role played by the country.
The discussion between the Minister and the Jordanian Ambassador covered a range of topics, including the situation in Palestine, cooperation in the media sector, and other significant matters. Both sides expressed their commitment to enhancing cooperation in potential areas of trade and investment between Pakistan and Jordan.
