Soldier, Two Civilians Martyred in North Western Pakistan

RAWALPINDI:  A soldier of Pakistan army while two civilians embraced martyrdom when terrorists fired upon vehicles of a private company working on a development project in Darazinda area of Dera Ismail Khan District of north western Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release on Monday.

According to the ISPR Sepoy Syed Muhammad Shaheen Shah (age: 33 years, resident of: district Hangu), employed on the security of the project, having fought gallantly, embraced Shahadat in the incident.

It said that two innocent civilian employees of the company, Mr. Muhammad Faisal (age: 35 years) and Mr. Asif Kamran (age: 29 years), residents of District Karak also embraced Shahadat.

ISPR said sanitization operation is being carried out to eliminate the terrorists present in the area.

The Security forces of Pakistan are resolute to eradicate the menace of terrorism and would continue to support the economic progress of the area.

Terrorist killed in IBO

ISPR in a statement said that during an intelligence based operation (IBO) on 13 November 2023, in Bara are of Khyber District a terrorist was sent to hell.

It said the terrorist has been identified as Qudrat Shah alias Abubakar. The statement said that weapon and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorist, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities.
