Soldiers Laid to Rest in Native Areas With Full Military Honors: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Sepoy Muhammad Idris Shaheed, Sepoy Badam Gul Shaheed of Pakistan Army, Counter Terrorism Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sub-Inspector Tajmir Shah Shaheed and Assistant Sub-Inspector Muhammad Akram Shaheed who embraced martyrdom during an intelligence based operation at Hassan Khel area of Peshawar on Wednesday, were laid to rest in their native areas with full military honors, the military’s media wing said on Friday.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), a large number of senior serving officers of Pakistan Army and Police, relatives of the martyrs and elders of the area attended the funeral prayers and burial of the martyrs.

The ISPR said these sacrifices of our brave sons will strengthen our resolve to eliminate the menace of terrorism.

Earlier, ISPR said that during intense exchange of fire, four brave sons of soil; Sepoy Muhammad Idrees (age: 34 years, resident of Swabi District), Sepoy Badam Gul (age: 34 years, resident of Kohat District) of Pakistan Army and Sub Inspector Tajmir Shah, (age: 38 years, resident of: Peshawar District) & Assistant Sub Inspector Muhammad Akram (age: 34 years, resident of Mansehra District) of CTD KPK, having fought gallantly, embraced Shahadat.
