CHICAGO: Punjab Police SSP, Riffat Bukhari has taken the global stage by storm, snagging a prestigious accolade from the International Association of Women Police. SSP Bukhari has been awarded for her exceptional service at the 61st Annual Conference in Chicago. As the spotlight shone brightly on her, Bukhari was honored with the award for her stellar contributions to women’s safety, pioneering AI-driven road safety initiatives, and smart traffic management.
Currently making waves at the Punjab Safe Cities Authority, Bukhari joins an elite league of global female police officers recognized annually for their extraordinary achievements. Her work is a testament to how innovation and dedication can transform public safety on an international scale.
At the conference, the International Association of Women Police (IAWP) President, Debra Friedl, took center stage to present the award to Riffat Bukhari.
IG Punjab Usman Anwar and MD of the Safe Cities Authority, Ahsan Younis, joined in the celebrations, extending their congratulations to her. Dr. Anwar praised SSP Riffat Bukhari’s accomplishment, noting that her achievement is a proud milestone for female officers everywhere.
