Stakeholders Urged to Agree on Economic Development Agenda

ISLAMABAD: President Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Irfan Iqbal Sheikh Tuesday called upon all the stakeholders to agree on economic development agenda, which was the only option to improve and develop the national economy for social uplift and prosperity.

Addressing a gathering of traders at the Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries (ICSTSI), on Tuesday, he said that being a higher trade body.

FPCCI would make all efforts to help resolve grievances of the business community across the country. He reiterated that full cooperation and backing would be extended to ICSTSI to pursue their business interests.

Economic Development Agenda

Mr. Sheikh further said that Pakistan’s economy be restored and developed by promoting small trade and small industry, adding that the country’s population was increasing every year, which needs more employment opportunities and other relevant facilities.

He added said that all trade bodies shall work together for the improvement of the economy and development of the country.

He said that all the issues can only be solved by sitting together with good intentions and commitment and come up with the best economic model to take the country out of the ongoing economic quagmire.
