Sumatra, Indonesia: Indra and his mother Delilah are two of less than 80 Sumatran rhinoceros’ believed to be living in the world. Indra’s birth in Indonesia’s Way Kambas national park in November 2023 boosted hope for the conservation of the critically endangered species. Indonesia is the only country in the world where the rhino species can be found, after they became extinct in Malaysia in 2019.
