ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan on Friday categorically rejected news reports as “false” regarding an alleged altercation and scuffle between its judges during their walk in the Judges Colony Park on Thursday evening.
The alleged altercation has been carried out and highlighted through various social media platforms.
However, the apex court, in its statement, termed the news as false, mischievous, and malicious.
Effort to diminish judges’ dignity
No such incident took place. The fake news about the judges of the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) is a serious breach of the law and represents an effort by frustrated elements to diminish the dignity of the Court and its honourble members”, the statement read.
