RIYADH: Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad has warned of the danger of genocide to which the Palestinian citizens in Gaza are exposed, noting that the situation in Palestinian territory has become more unjust and oppressive.

While speaking at the Joint Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit in Riyadh, the Syrian President highlighted the imminent danger of genocide faced by the Palestinian people in Gaza. President Bashar Al-Assad expressed grave concern over the increasingly unjust and oppressive situation in Palestine.

During his speech, President Al-Assad called for unified action to halt the atrocities committed by Israel against the Palestinian people. He stressed that the pursuit of a peaceful resolution is contingent upon the Israeli occupation’s immediate and long-term commitment to cease its criminal policies against all Palestinians. President Al-Assad emphasized the necessity of an immediate allowance for the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, addressing the urgent needs of the affected population.
