ISLAMABAD: Islamabad’s art scene witnessed a celebration of literary and visual art convergence as the “Tare-Hariri Do Rang” painting exhibition opened its doors at the Tanzara Gallery on Thursday. The exhibition, which will continue until May 18, promises a captivating exploration of Allama Iqbal’s profound poetry through the intricate medium of visual art, courtesy of the talented duo Shah Abdullah Alamee and Amna Manzoor.
With “Tare-Hariri Do Rang,” Alamee and Manzoor present a collaborative interpretation of Iqbal’s Urdu and Farsi poetry, drawing inspiration from the timeless verses that have left an indelible mark on literary and philosophical discourse. Through their joint creative endeavor, the artists embark on a journey to unravel the nuanced layers of Iqbal’s poetic legacy, skillfully blending their unique artistic perspectives to craft a rich tapestry of visual imagery.
Alamee and Manzoor invite viewers to explore themes of spirituality, humanism, and existential contemplation through their imaginative compositions on canvas.
