WASHINGTON: Taylor Swift almost fell victim to misfortune after a man allegedly made attempt to break into her New York City apartment in Tribeca, western media reported on Sunday.
According to media reports, law enforcement agencies arrested a man for allegedly attempting to break into a building at the location.
Eyewitnesses said that the man went up to Taylor’s door “1 p.m.” at the time, she was supposedly at her house in the Big Apple.
They told the media that the person had been waiting in the neighbourhood for the past “few days,” and was sleeping on the stoop, chain-smoking continuously, shouting, and usually making everyperson uncomfortable.

When he arrived before Christmas, my husband enquired what he was doing here and he replied, ‘I want to see Taylor Swift,’” said one of the neighbours.
A representative for police confirmed that the authorities received a call regarding a “disorderly person” on Franklin Street.
“Upon arrival, police personnel were informed that the man attempted to open a door to a house at the location,” they maintained.
“It was all pretty public,” the eyewitness claimed. “He did not resist. There was no shouting or anything.”
