LONDON: Taylor Swift has expressed her admiration for Simone Biles after the Olympic gymnast chose Swift’s song “Ready for It” for her floor routine during the 2024 US Olympic Gymnastics Trials.

Biles, known for her breathtaking performances, incorporated Swift’s track from the album Reputation into her routine, specifically using it for the initial part of her floor exercise on day 2 of the trials. The routine showcased Biles’ exceptional athleticism, including her trademark triple-double tumbling pass, widely regarded as one of the most challenging in the world.

Swift, responding to the NBC Olympics & Paralympics tweet featuring Biles’ routine, expressed her delight and support on social media platform X. “Watched this so many times and still unready. She is ready for it tho,” Swift tweeted.

While Biles captivated audiences with her gymnastic prowess, Swift continued her highly successful Eras Tour, performing recently in Ireland after captivating audiences in London and Scotland. Her London concerts garnered special attention when the Prince of Wales and his children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, attended one of her shows. The royal family even took a cheerful selfie with Swift during the event.

Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce shared his experience meeting the royals on his podcast New Heights. Kelce described the royal family as “absolutely a delight to meet,” navigating the etiquette with humor, wondering whether to bow, curtsy, or simply shake hands in American style. “We wanted to be polite,” Kelce remarked.
