NEW YORK: Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated “Eras Tour” concert film is set to become the cinematic sensation of the season, and its release is going global. The film, initially scheduled for release on October 13 in North America, will now be available in cinemas worldwide from that date, including at every Odeon location across Europe, according to an announcement from theater giant AMC on Tuesday.

Taylor Swift herself shared the news on the social media platform, Instagram, saying, “The tour is not the only thing we are taking worldwide… Been so excited to tell you all that The Eras Tour concert film is now officially coming to theaters WORLDWIDE on Oct 13!”

Upon the initial announcement of the film, it shattered records for pre-sales in the United States in a single day, amassing a staggering $37 million. Analysts are now predicting that the film could potentially exceed $100 million during its opening weekend in North America.

Jeff Bock, an analyst for box office tracker Exhibitor Relations, remarked, “I think we could be talking about the biggest film of the fall season, which is pretty incredible.”

Taylor Swift Taking Break from Tour

Swift, at 33 years old, is currently taking a break from her immensely successful tour that commenced in March. The tour is set to resume in November and extend well into the next year. Industry experts are even speculating that it might become the first tour in history to break the symbolic $1 billion mark in earnings.

While Swift’s “Eras Tour” continues to captivate audiences around the world, her personal life also grabbed headlines over the weekend. Speculation about her romantic involvement with NFL star Travis Kelce intensified when she was spotted watching a game featuring the Super Bowl-winning tight end from a luxury box, alongside Kelce’s mother.
