ISLAMABAD: Tecno has officially announced that its latest Camon 20 series is on its way to launch in Pakistan.
Although the Camon 20 series was released globally in May this year, it has yet to debut in Pakistan.
Tecno’s official Twitter account for Pakistan recently teased the arrival of the Camon 20 series with a “coming soon” announcement. While the teaser doesn’t reveal a specific launch date, it indicates that more details will likely be unveiled in the upcoming days as the campaign unfolds.
While some retailers in Pakistan have acquired the Tecno Camon 20 before the official launch, widespread availability will occur once the phone is officially released.
Tecno’s teaser campaign
As part of its ongoing teaser campaign, Tecno has already confirmed some features of the Camon 20 series, including a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with slim bezels and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is expected that other specifications from the global model, such as the Helio G85 chip, a 64MP camera, and a powerful 5,000 mAh battery, will also be present in the Pakistan variant, according to a local media outlet.
Moreover, the teaser’s mention of the “Camon 20 series” suggests that the Pro variant will also be introduced alongside the standard model. The Pro model is anticipated to offer additional features like a smoother 120Hz screen, an upgraded chipset, and improved camera capabilities.
