TEXAS: At least five people have been killed, including an 8-year-old child, in a mass shooting in San Jacinto County, Texas. Four persons were found dead at the scene, while the child died at the hospital. The shooting occurred in the Trails End area of Cleveland, Texas, about 55 miles north of Houston.

The San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office responded to a phone call for harassment around midnight on Saturday and discovered five persons had been shot at a private property in the Trail End Subdivision.

Four persons were pronounced dead at the scene, and one victim died at a local hospital. Three other victims were shifted to the hospital, but their condition is unknown.

The victims were identified as four adults and one child, all of whom were from Honduras. The three other victims who were shifted to the hospital were children. When the authorities arrived, they found the two females in the bedroom were actually lying over the top of the younger children who survived.

Texas shooting suspect is a Mexican male

According to Sheriff Greg Capers of the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Office, the suspect in the shooting is a Mexican male from Mexico. The office of the sheriff has a copy of his consular identification card, and he has been known to shoot a firearm in the front yard of the residence where the shooting occurred.

Police found shell casings in the front yard of the residence, but the suspect is not believed to be in the area. An investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and police are actively looking for the suspect.

The tragedy has sent shockwaves through the local community, and officials are calling for anyone with information to come forward to help with the investigation. The motive for the shooting is still unknown.

This incident is yet another tragic reminder of the need for stricter gun control laws in the United States. As the investigation continues, the families of the victims are left to mourn their loved ones lost in this senseless act of violence.
