BANGKOK, Thailand: Thailand’s Constitutional Court has removed Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin from office, ruling against him in an ethics case related to the appointment of a minister with a criminal conviction.
The court’s decision, made by a five to four vote, has plunged the nation into political uncertainty. In response, Srettha expressed his respect for the verdict, stating that during his nearly one-year tenure, he aimed to lead the country with honesty and good intentions.
