MUMBAI: Renowned Bollywood Director Karan Johar will unveil the first look of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani on Wednesday to mark his 25 years in the film industry.
On May 25, the day of Karan Johar’s birthday, the first look poster for his upcoming film will be launched. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani marks Karan Johar’s return to director’s chair after seven years.
The movie, which marks his 25th year in the business and stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in key roles, is a tribute to love in all its majesty and beauty.
Karna Johar on Wednesday took to social media to share a video with moments of love from movies like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, My Name is Khan, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, and Student of The Year.
He wrote, “Nothing but gratitude for the magical 25 years I have spent in the chair of the director. I learned, and I wept. I grew, I lived, and I laughed. Tomorrow, another piece of my heart will be yours to watch, and I could not be more ecstatic as I will celebrate my birthday with you all. With a kahaani that has prem written all over it. See you tomorrow.”
The movie stars Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, and Shabana Azmi. It will release on July 28 in theatres.
