Three Pakistan Army Soldiers Embraced Martyrdom in South Waziristan Firefight with Terrorists

ISLAMABAD: Three Pakistan Army soldiers embraced martyrdom during an intense exchange of fire with terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s South Waziristan district, a military statement said on Tuesday.

In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations said that Sepoy Asad Ullah, 30, a Mitiari resident, Sepoy Muhammad Sufyan, 28, a DI Khan resident, and Non-Combatant Bearer Zain Ali, a Bahwalnagar resident, were martyred in the intense fire exchange with terrorists.

Sanitisation operation was being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area. “Security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve,” ISPR maintained

Earlier today, according to ISPR, a fire exchange took place between security forces and terrorists in the North Waziristan district.

During the fierce fire exchange, Pakistani troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, as a result of which two terrorists were sent to hell, ISPR stated.

However, during the intense exchange of fire, leading his troops from the front, Captain Muhammad Osama bin Arshad (age: 24 years, resident of Rawalpindi district), having fought gallantly, made the ultimate sacrifice and embraced Shahadat, ISPR stated.
