Three Soldiers Martyred, Four ‘Khwarij’ Killed in Northwestern Pakistan: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s security forces have killed four ‘Khwarij’ in three different locations in northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, a military statement said on Friday.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, fire exchange took place between Security Forces and the ‘Khwarij’ at three different locations in Tirah Valley of Khyber District on 9 August 2024.

“Resultantly, four khwarij were sent to hell due to effective engagement by own troops,” it said.

The ISPR said during the intense fire exchange, three brave sons of soil were also martyred in the exchange of firing. They were martyred soldiers were identified as Havildar Inam Gul (age: 37 years, resident of District Mianwali), Sepoy Muhammad Imran (age: 29 years, resident of District Tank) and Sepoy Iltaf Khan (age: 22 years, resident of District Mardan).

“Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area as Security Forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe-out the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve,” it said.
