Three Terrorists Killed in Forces Operation in Bannu, KP: ISPR

PESHAWAR: Three terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Nurar area in the Bannu district of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, ISPR said in a press release here on Tuesday.

According to ISPR, on the night of 10/11 April, Security Forces carried out an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the general area of Nurar, Bannu District, in response to reports of the presence of terrorists in the area.

According to a statement issued by the military’s media wing, the operation resulted in a fierce exchange of fire between the Security Forces and the terrorists. All three terrorists were killed during the operation, ISPR said.

Additionally, weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the terrorists. The killed terrorists were believed to be involved in various terrorist activities against security forces and innocent citizens.

The operation was met with appreciation from the locals of the area, who expressed their full support to the Security Forces in their efforts to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the region.

This successful operation is another example of the Security Forces’ continued efforts to maintain law and order in the country, particularly in areas been plagued by terrorist activities.
