ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that tickets for the upcoming three-match T20I series between Pakistan and New Zealand will go on sale from Sunday (tomorrow April 2) at 11 am. The matches are scheduled to take place on April 14, 15, and 17 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
According to the PCB, the tickets will be available in different enclosures at the stadium, with prices ranging from Rs250 to Rs3,500. The VVIP enclosure (Wasim Akram) will cost Rs3,500, the VIP enclosures (Fazal Mahmood and Imran Khan) will cost Rs2,000, the premium enclosures (Raja’s and Saeed Anwar) will cost Rs1,000, the first-class enclosures (Abdul Qadir, Javed Miandad, AH Kardar, and Sarfaraz Nawaz) will cost Rs500, and the general enclosures (Hanif Mohammad, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Majid Khan, Imtiaz Ahmed, Nazar, Quaid, Saeed Ahmed, and Zaheer Abbas) will cost Rs250.
Fans can purchase the tickets online from pcb.bookme.pk in the first phase using their original ID cards. Physical tickets will be available in the next phase, starting from April 6, and the details of the sale points will be announced later.
Pakistan vs New Zealand series schedule
The PCB also confirmed that the schedule for the series against New Zealand was revised due to elections in Punjab. The team will now play three T20Is in Lahore from April 14-17, two T20Is and one ODI in Rawalpindi from April 20-26, and four ODIs in Karachi from April 30-May 7.
This series is an additional tour by the New Zealand cricket team, and all the matches will count towards the ICC Team Rankings. The ODIs will help Pakistan prepare for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 and ACC Asia Cup, while the T20Is will assist the PCB in rebuilding the team for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, which will be held in the United States and West Indies in June/July 2024.
