ISLAMABAD: TikToker Nosheen Saeed, widely known as Dolly, has been found guilty of evading taxes amounting to Rs16 million, according to a local newspaper report. The Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has confirmed the attachment of Dolly’s bank accounts, recovering Rs4.4 million in unpaid taxes. Authorities are now considering seizing her properties to recover the remaining amount.

A spokesperson from the PRA revealed that Dolly operates a beauty salon in Gulberg but had been evading taxes owed to the provincial government. Despite several notices, the TikTok sensation failed to comply with the tax regulations, prompting PRA Commissioner Misbah Nawaz to initiate the recovery process.

Dolly gained nationwide attention last year when a controversial video featuring her went viral on social media platforms. In the footage, two individuals were seen setting a forest on fire at Margalla Hills, allegedly for the sake of a dramatic effect in their TikTok video.

TikToker’s Involvement in Margalla Forest Fire

The Islamabad Police filed a case against Dolly for setting fires in the Margalla forest based on a complaint by the Capital Development Authority (CDA). The complaint invoked wildlife and environment protection laws. Dolly vehemently denied the accusations, stating on her official Instagram account that she had no involvement in the forest fire. She challenged viewers to investigate her travel history, claiming she had not visited National Park Kohsar in years.

In her clarification video, Dolly explained that she had stopped on her way back from Haripur after a makeup class to record a TikTok video when she noticed the burning bushes in the background. The controversial video, which sparked the legal proceedings against her, portrayed Dolly standing near the burning vegetation alongside another individual.
