KARACHI: Renowned Pakistani actor Fawad Khan has finally addressed rumors about his potential return to Bollywood during an interview with media India.
Khan, a beloved figure in both Pakistan and India, spoke about his possible re-entry into the Indian film industry while promoting his new series, “Barzakh.” This series, a joint production by Indian and Pakistani production houses, stars Fawad Khan alongside Sanam Saeed.
Regarding to a question about his plans to return to Bollywood, Khan said, “Time and circumstances will tell what will happen and what will not. I believe when the right time comes, things happen naturally. Whatever is finalized, I will share with everyone. I will not hide anything from my fans.”
Khan also expressed his hopes for improved relations between the entertainment industries of the two countries. “There are many talented actors in Pakistan who wish to work in India. I hope that if circumstances improve, there will be more collaboration between the showbiz industries of both countries.”
Recently, Indian media reported that Fawad Khan is set to return to Bollywood after nearly eight years, possibly starring alongside actress Vaani Kapoor in a new film, which is reportedly set to begin shooting in London soon.
Actor Fawad Khan made his Bollywood debut in 2014 with the film “Khoobsurat,” starring opposite Indian actress Sonam Kapoor. He later appeared in “Kapoor & Sons” and “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil,” both of which significantly boosted his fan following in India.
