RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) minister for foreign affairs has held meeting with his Omani counterpart in Jeddah, Arab media reported early on Saturday.
He met Omani foreign minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi on the sidelines of a ministerial consultative session in Jeddah. The two sides discussed bilateral ties between Saudi Arabia and Oman and ways to further enhance bilateral cooperation. The top diplomats also reviewed ways to boost cooperation in diverse fields. They also exchanged views on regional and global developments during the meeting.
Arab diplomats visit KSA
Meanwhile, Saudi Deputy foreign minister Waleed Al-Khuraiji has received several Arab officials on Friday in Jeddah, who will attend a ministerial consultative meeting between Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf nations, Saudi Arabia’s foreign ministry said.
Waleed Al-Khuraiji also received the Foreign Minister of Bahrain, the diplomatic adviser to the United Arab Emirates president, the Foreign Minister of Qatar, and the Foreign Minister of Oman.
Similarly, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein and Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Al-Safadi also arrived in the Kingdom of Saud Arabia (KSA) to attend the meeting.
