ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday sought former prime minister Imran Khan’s accounts details from State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) in Toshakhana gifts reference.
The Election Commission has written a letter to SBP in this regard and it would announce the reserved verdict after scrutinizing the accounts’ details.
It is to be noted that ECP is hearing a crucial disqualification case against the PTI chairman over failing to declare gifts taken from Toshakhana.
It reserved its verdict in early September when the case had created much hype in the media.
