DIR: Early Wednesday morning, a speedy van veered off the road and fell into a ravine near Dir Bala, resulting in the loss of at least four lives. Several other passengers sustained injuries in the unfortunate accident.
According to rescue sources, the van was on its route when the driver lost control on a slippery bend in the road, likely caused by a combination of snow and rain. Promptly upon receiving information, rescue teams, locals, and the police rushed to the scene.
Rescue personnel worked diligently to retrieve the bodies from the ravine, subsequently transporting them to the district headquarters (DHQ) hospital.
