MIAN CHANNU: A tragic incident occurred in Mian Channu, Khanewal district, on Wednesday, resulting in the death of a student and injuries to two others.
According to officials, the accident occurred in front of the Government Girls Model High School, where the students were on their way to school.
Rescue 1122 reported that a speeding car collided with the students, causing fatal injuries. The deceased, identified as Shiza, was an eighth-grade student.
The injured students were rushed to the Tehsil Headquarter Hospital for medical treatment. Khanewal District Police Officer (DPO) Rana Umar Farooq confirmed the arrest of the driver, who initially fled the scene, and provided details of the casualties.
