PARIS: Speculation surrounding the relationship between NFL star Travis Kelce and pop icon Taylor Swift has reached a new level as reports emerge suggesting that Kelce is delaying any plans for marriage with the singer-songwriter.
According to a source speaking to US Weekly, Kelce, who began dating Swift in September 2023, has no immediate intentions of proposing to her. The insider revealed, “Travis has no plans on proposing to Taylor anytime soon. It’s not even on his radar.” Emphasizing Kelce’s cautious approach to marriage, the source added, “Marriage is something he takes very seriously and not something he would ever just jump into without giving it some careful consideration.”
While Kelce is said to deeply care for Swift, the source indicated that he has not reached the point of considering a proposal. “He’s just not there yet,” the insider stated.
Earlier in the year another insider informed US Weekly that marriage was not imminent for the couple. “Travis and Taylor have no plans on getting engaged this summer,” the source had revealed. Despite their strong connection, the insider emphasized that the couple still had much to learn about each other.
Kelce’s recent presence at Swift’s Eras Tour in Paris further fueled speculation about the status of their relationship. Alongside celebrities like Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper, Kelce was spotted dancing at Swift’s May 18 show.
Reflecting on the experience, Kelce shared his enthusiasm for Swift’s performances with US Weekly during his Kelce Jam festival in Bonner Springs, Kansas. “Taylor’s shows are unbelievable. If you haven’t been to them, you have to try it,” Kelce remarked.
