SARGODHA: Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Sargodha kicked off a tree plantation campaign here on Thursday.
Secretary BISE, Dr Mohsin Abbas inaugurated the campaign by planting a sapling in the BISE lawn.
Speaking at the occasion, he said that planting trees was necessary to control the rapidly increasing pollution, as protecting the environment was a national cause.
350 plants to be planted during the campaign
The Secretary Education said that about 350 plants would be planted in the ground of the education board, and would be supervised by Director, Physical Education, Roshan Zameer.
He urged the students and staff of the board to plant more trees in order to make the environment clean.
