PESHAWAR: In connection with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa U23 Regional Games, Peshawar Region Women Trials are underway at Peshawar Sports Complex, local media reported.
According to APP, women from districts Mohmand, Charsadda, Nowshera, Khyber, and Peshawar District are taking part in these trials. Regional Sports Officer Peshawar Kashif Farhan said that all arrangements for the smooth conduct of the trials have been finalized and the trials are being held in a conducive atmosphere. He said that the Games will start from May 28.
The selection of badminton, volleyball, table tennis, squash, karate and taekwondo players held at Peshawar Sports Complex Qayyum Stadium. Throwball trials will be held on May 23. The football trials are being held at Tahmas Khan Football Stadium. The players selected in these trials will be provided kit, shoes and allowances by the Directorate General of Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
