ISLAMABAD: While ensuring payment of compensation amount to the ex-employees of the Daily Azkar, Islamabad, a national daily, a departmental representative of the Implementation Tribunal of Newspaper Employees handed over compensatory pay orders to the petitioner’s counsel.
The compensation amount of PKR 1,106,247 was paid in three different cases, sources told this scribe.
The amount will be distributed among former employees of the newspaper as per their due compensation.

The Implementation Tribunal of Newspaper Employees announced its verdict in all three cases back in 2015. However, payment of the compensation amount was delayed till now.
