Trishan Patel Joins Pakistan Football Team as Assistant Coach

ISLAMABAD: Trishan Patel has joined the Pakistan football team as an assistant coach.

Previously, he was working as an online performance analyst for the national team, according to a press release issued on Thursday.

Trishan will take on dual responsibilities as assistant coach and performance analyst for the national team’s upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Saudi Arabia and Tajikistan.

The Pakistan national football team is engaged in an intensive training camp in Islamabad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifiers Round 2 home match against Saudi Arabia played on June 6 in Islamabad followed by an away match in Tajikistan on June 11.

Pakistan Squad

The preliminary squad of Pakistan includes- Goalkeepers: Tanveer and Hassan Ali; Defenders: Huzaifa, Waqar Ihtisham, Abdul Rehman, Haseeb Khan, Mamoon Moosa Khan, Muhammad Adeel, Muhammad Saddam Umar Hayat, and Zain ul Abideen; Midfielders: Alamgir Ghazi, Ali Uzair, Yasir Arafat, Rajab Ali, Moin Ali, Junaid Ahmed and Fahim; Forwards: Shayak Dost, Ali Zafar, Adeel Younas, and Fareedullah.

The names of diaspora players who would join the training camp later will be included in the final squad.
