CHARLOTTE: Donald Trump has launched a volley of assaults against US Vice President Kamala Harris, calling her a “radical left lunatic” in his first rally since she became the Democratic Party nominee for November’s race.
In a speech claiming Harris was in favor of the “execution” of babies due to her position on abortions, the Republican nominee said: “She is a radical left lunatic who will destroy our nation.”
However, Trump insisted that they are not going to let that happen. Donald Trump’s speech comes as Harris, hits the campaign trail armed with Biden’s endorsement — after his historic decision over the weekend not to seek re-election.
Trump also repeatedly attacked President Biden over his age but has been forced to pivot as he has now become the oldest candidate in the history of the United States. The former President called Harris “the ultra-liberal force behind every single Biden catastrophe.
Trump claimed that Harris wanted “abortions” the execution of a baby.” Saying Democratic Party leaders were behind Biden’s decision to quit, he alleged Harris of covering up President Biden’s “mental unfitness.”
Earlier, the White House rejected it had covered up any possible decline in Biden’s health prior to his decision to drop out of the elections.
However, Harris’s candidacy has stirred enthusiasm among Democrats following weeks of turmoil over Biden, who came under pressure after a disastrous debate performance against Donald Trump last month.
