WASHINGTON: Donald Trump’s son, Eric Trump, recently called British royalty Prince Harry and Meghan Markle “spoiled apples.”

Echoing his father’s previous statement, Eric Trump stated that the couple could be deported when Donald Trump wins the presidential elections in November. Earlier, Donald Trump has said that the they could be deported if found to have falsified information on his US visa form.

Prince Harry’s autobiography ‘Spare’ disclosed that he previously took drugs, which under US law would normally be grounds for visa application rejection. In a conversation with GB News’ Nigel Farage, Trump declared that the Royal would not be granted “special privileges” if he had falsified information on his US visa form.

While speaking to the British publication GB News during a visit to Trump International Golf Links in Scotland, Eric stated that his father was a firm ally of the British royal family.  However, when discussing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, he remarked, “You can happily have those two, we don’t need them anymore.”

“You can always have bad actors in everything. Just like every orchard has some spoiled apples,” he added. Eric Trump called the British royal family a “sacred institution,” and that it is “admired by many Americans and deserves to be protected.”

He said that his mother, Ivana Trump, knew so many of the royals for years and had a great bond with late Diana, the iconic people’s princess. However, Donald Trump has been a hard critic of Harry and Megan, whom he believes betrayed Queen Elizabeth II with their public scrutiny.

In 2020, The royal couple announced that they were stepping back from their royal responsibilities and moved to the United States, where they live in a luxurious nine-bedroom Montecito mansion with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.
