RAWALPINDI: Hakan Fidan, Turkish Foreign Minister has called on Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir and discussed matters of mutual interest during the meeting, the military’s media wing said on Monday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Turkish Foreign Minister, paid a visit to General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Chief of Army Staff (COAS). The ISPR said that during their meeting, matters of mutual interest came under discussion.
Both sides expressed their satisfaction with the deep-rooted relations between the two countries, founded on a historic, cultural, and religious bonds, the ISPR maintained.
The visiting dignitary commended the Pakistan Army’s role in maintaining peace and stability in the region, the ISPR said.
