RAWALPINDI: Turkish Navy Ship TCG KINALIADA (F-514) has arrived Karachi for a good will trip, the military’s media wing said. According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the ship was received by Pakistan Navy Ship at sea and warmly welcomed at Karachi port by senior Pakistan Navy officials along with diplomatic staff of Turkish Consulate.
The statement said that during stay at the port, the Commanding Officer of Turkish Ship will hold meetings with Pakistan Navy Field Commanders and other dignitaries to hold talks over matters of mutual interest.
In order to pay homage to the Founder of Pakistan, the Turkish Navy delegation will also lay floral wreath at Mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam, the ISPR added.
The trip of Turkish Navy ship to Pakistan is a manifestation of historic bilateral relations between both sides and strong collaboration between the Turkish Navy and Pakistan Navy.
