Two-day Hunza Festival Begins in Pakistan’s Federal Capital on March 4

ISLAMABAD: Two-day Hunza Festival will kick off in Islamabad on Saturday (March 4), presenting a number of fun and cultural activities from the Hunza region for the people of the twin cities.

The festival, which is being organized by Hunza Cultural Forum (HCF), will not only present the beauty of the mesmerizing Hunza valley but will also promote the rich tourist destination to the visitors.

The event includes cultural heritage, crafts, tourism, and art opportunities of the fairy tale land of northern Pakistan.

The event will also feature intriguing folk instrumental music by the traditional bands from the beautiful Hunza Valley and folk songs in different languages of the Valley, including Burushaski, Wakhi, Domaki, and Shina.

The festival also includes an exhibition of traditional handicraft products and organic cuisine of Hunza Valley in particular and that of Gilgit-Baltistan in general.

Hunza Awards are also a key part of the event through which social, cultural, professional, and educational contributions of the Hunzokutz will be highlighted.

Meanwhile, Hunza Film Festival will provide a platform to the creative and competent people from the Hunza valley to screen their films and documentary work based on the heritage and culture of the valley.
