Two Hackers Arrested in Connection With PM House Audio Leaks

ISLAMABAD: In the latest development of audio leaks saga in the country, two hackers allegedly involved in espionage activities in the Prime Minister House were arrested on Monday.

Officers of an intelligence agency arrested the due, accused of recording the prime minister’s phone calls, a local TV reported.

One hacker belongs to Rawalpindi and is associated with an educational institution. The other hails from a city in central Punjab.

Both the hackers have been handed over to a national security institution for interrogation.

Officials doubt that the hackers were in close contact with the security staff at the PM house.

Audio leaks of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and former premier Imran Khan have generated many controversies and the questions are being asked about the security of the most important office in the country.
