FLORIDA, USA: Two jets briefly clipped wings while executing an aerial stunt during the Fort Lauderdale Airshow, on May 12, spectator video shows.
Footage shared by @frograilfanning shows two planes, part of a four-jet formation, briefly brushing wings before swiftly maneuvering apart to avert a potential disaster.
According to @frograilfanning, the incident unfolded during a performance by the Polaris Ghost Squadron. Event organizers, as reported by local media, confirmed that the show was temporarily halted and an emergency was declared as a precautionary measure.
Fortunately, both jets managed to land safely, and there were no reported injuries to the pilots involved.
