HYDERABAD: At least two people died and thirteen others were critically injured in a road accident involving a rickshaw and a car of Hindu pilgrims who were returning from the Shiv Mahadev Mela in Umarkot district Sindh.
The accident occured near Dargah Namanu Shah, resulting in the deaths of Narayan Kolhi and Sunil Meghwad, while 13 others sustained serious injuries.
Road accident victims shifted to Hyderabad
Rescue and police teams immediately reached the location, the dead bodies and the injured were taken to District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Umarkot. The injured were then shifted to Hyderabad.
The deceased belonged to Namanu Shah Dargah, Hyderabad, and the accident caused by the over-speeding car, police said, adding that the driver fled the scene. –APP
