FAISALABAD: At least two people were killed in a road accident on the Motorway (M-3) near Jaranwala interchange, local official said on Friday. Rescue 1122 said that the accident occurred when a speeding car hit a mini loader near Jaranwala interchange.
As a result of the collision, Faisal Rasheed and Daniyal Nasir sustained severe injuries and tragically succumbed to them on the spot. The victims were travelling from Multan to Lahore at the time of the accident.
Following the accident, the Rescue team handed over the dead bodies to the Motorway Police, who subsequently transported them to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) hospital Jaranwala. —APP
