ISLAMABAD: Pak armed forces’ two officers Major Jawad and Captain Sagheer embraced martyrdom during a sanitization operation in Kohlu area of Balochistan on Friday.
“Based on credible intelligence, a sanitization operation was initiated in Kohlu area of Balochistan to deny terrorists any liberty of action.” ISPR said in a statement, adding, “during the operation, an IED exploded close to the leading party, leading to the martyrdom of two officers, Major Jawad and Captain Sagheer”.
Two brave soldiers laid their lives to defend motherland
The statement said that the brave officers embraced Shahadat (martyrdom) and laid their lives in defense of the motherland against an externally perpetrated threat.
In the area, the sanitization operation continues, in the area, to apprehend perpetrators and enemies of peace.
Such cowardly acts by terrorist elements cannot sabotage the hard-earned peace and prosperity in the province, ISPR added.
Security Forces are determined to neutralize their nefarious designs even at the cost of blood and lives.
