Two Pakistani Cricketers Injured in Road Accident

KARACHI:  Two players of the Pakistan women’s cricket team, Bismah Maroof and Ghulam Fatima were injured in a road accident in Karachi. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that first aid was provided to both players after the accident.

Details regarding the severity of their injuries and expected recovery period have not been disclosed as of now. Both players are members of the provisional squad currently participating in a training camp ahead of the upcoming series against the West Indies, which will commence on April 18th. The Pakistan Cricket Board has issued an update regarding Bismah Maroof and Ghulam Fatima. Although they suffered minor injuries, they are now being looked after by the PCB medical team.

Cricket fans expressed sorrow over the accident and extended sympathies to the injured players. Fans prayed for the speedy recovery of the two players and hoped that they would play a leading role in the upcoming series against West Indies.
