Two Soldiers of Pakistan Army Martyred in IED Blast in North Waziristan

RAWALPINDI: Two soldiers of the Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom when an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded on a convoy of security forces in the Razmak area of North Waziristan district of northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release here on Wednesday.

According to ISPR, an improvised explosive device exploded on a convoy of security forces in the Razmak area of the North Waziristan district. As a result of the explosion, two soldiers, Lance Naik Ehsan Badshah (33 years of age and a resident of Karak district) and Lance Naik Sajid Hussain (30 years of age and a resident of Kurram district) embraced martyrdom, ISPR said.

Sanitization operation is being carried out in the area to eliminate any terrorists present in the area. “The security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism, and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve,“ ISPR affirmed.
