NEW YORK: Mike Tyson, the former heavyweight champion, announced his return to the ring at 57, dismissing criticisms about his age as he prepares to face YouTuber-turned-fighter Jake Paul.

Despite feeling the toll of training on his body, Tyson, known as the “baddest man on the planet” in the ’80s and ’90s, expressed excitement about shaking up the sports world once more. Scheduled for July 20th at the AT&T Stadium in Texas, the bout has garnered skepticism from figures like Deontay Wilder, who fear for Tyson’s safety.

However, Tyson remains confident, stating, “I’m beautiful,” and shrugging off doubts. Meanwhile, Paul, 31 years Tyson’s junior, is undeterred, determined to prove himself against the boxing legend. Despite the intensity of the impending fight, Tyson holds no ill will towards Paul, expressing his fondness for him. And while Tyson hints at future bouts, his focus remains on his upcoming challenge.
