The UAE will host the annual Expo City in Dubai from 30 November to 12 December 2023.

The appointment come at a pivotal time as the world is struggling against climate impact and challenges to food, water security and energy security and reversing the loss of biodiversity.

Limiting global warming to 1.5C will need significant reductions in emissions, a practical, pragmatic and realistic approach to the energy transition and more support from energy economies.
