ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of UAE in Islamabad, Hamad Obaid Ebrahim Alzaabi has congratulated all women around the world on the International Women’s Day on Friday.
In a message, he said that international Women’s Day is celebrated to renew the gratitude and appreciation for the legacy of the founding father, Sheikh Zayed – may Allah bestow mercy upon him – and the “Mother of the Nation,” Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, who promoted women, raised their status, and pushed them to the ranks of leadership in national work.
“Not only today, but every day we must honour the invaluable contributions of women in shaping our world with compassion, wisdom, and grace. Wishing all women the recognition and appreciation they deserve for their tireless efforts and unwavering dedication. May every woman be treated with dignity, respect, and equality in all aspects of life,” the ambassador said in a message.
The envoy also extended his gratitude and appreciation to the lady colleagues in Pakistan for all their hard work.
