ISLAMABAD: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador to Pakistan, Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi, has visited Pakistan Sweet Home Orphanage and holds a charitable event, said a statement by the UAE embassy in Islamabad on Friday.
The event was held in conjunction with Zayed Humanitarian Day, to support and provide food and medical care for the orphanage in the holy month of Ramadan, in partnership with charitable and humanitarian organizations of UAE.
Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi, on the occasion said Zayed Humanitarian Day is a day of embodiment of the noble humanitarian principles established by the founding father of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed, “may Allah have mercy on him,” the values of giving, altruism, and doing good.
“It is a day in which we remember Zayed’s humanitarian legacy in Pakistan,” he said.
