UAE Launches Humanitarian Aid Convoy to Support Gaza Strip

DUBAI: In a continued commitment to providing essential aid to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, a UAE humanitarian aid convoy, under the banner of “Gallant Knight 3,” has set off from Al Arish, Egypt, towards the Rafah Border Crossing.

This operation, directed by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, aims to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

The convoy, consisting of 13 trucks, carries a total of 272.5 tonnes of aid. Among these, 10 trucks are transporting 16,800 food packages, weighing 252 tonnes, intended to support approximately 84,000 people. Additionally, three trucks are delivering 360 tents, weighing 20.5 tonnes.

UAE’s Humanitarian Assistance for Gaza Strip

The UAE’s ongoing commitment to humanitarian assistance for the Palestinian people is part of the broader “Gallant Knight 3” operation, which includes an air bridge. The air bridge has facilitated 49 flights to date, playing a crucial role in providing relief to civilians in the Gaza Strip during these challenging circumstances.
