BAKU: An official welcome ceremony has been held for President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is on an official trip to Azerbaijan, local media reported on Tuesday.
A guard of honor was organized for the President of the UAE in the square decorated with the national flags of the two nations.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has welcomed President of UAE Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also saluted the Azerbaijani soldiers on the occasion. The two presidents reviewed the guard of honor. The national anthems of the UAE and Azerbaijan were also played on the occasion.
UAE President Visits Azerbaijan
The delegation of Azerbaijan was also introduced to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, while the delegation of the UAE was introduced to President Ilham Aliyev.

The guard of honor also marched in front of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of UAE Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the accompaniment of a military march.
The President of UAE also visited the tomb of National leader of Azerbaijan during his visit.
